April 9: There have been many famous movie mothers through the years: Mrs. Bates, Mommy Dearest, Mrs. Doubtfire... V.I. Warshawski, etc... But there probably has been no better example of a doggedly doting mother than Kim Hye-Ja's turn as the over-protective matriarch at the center of Bong Joon-ho’s latest thriller, "Mother." This week the guys break down the effectiveness of the critically-acclaimed Korean film, as well as dive into a fresh, spicy bowl of some always fulfilling Listener Feedback. And we’re sure all of the men that comprise Adam and Matty’s Top 5 Actors of the Decade list have mothers as well, so it’s good that the boys don’t speak ill of any of them -- well, we’re pretty sure Mrs. Depp doesn’t listen to the show anyway...
Also on the show: The Lubitsch Touches, honoring the best of the Ernst Lubitsch Marathon, Adam's take on Atom Egoyan's "Chloe," music from Restys and Massacre Theatre -- presented by Pixar Talk. This week's winner will get the Pixar DVD of their choice.
