#246: The Class / Viola Davis Interview / Top 5 Best Picture Nominees of the Decade
A is for Adam. B is for Ballgame. C is for "The Class." Get out your primers, this week Filmspotting goes back to school and finally delivers on its promise to review "The Class," France's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. Your intrepid reviewers spent two hours with teacher François Bégaudeau and his motley class of young teenagers and emerged with some edifying takes on director Laurent Cantet's Palme d'Or winning film. Filmspotting also caught up with Best Supporting Actress nominee Viola Davis("Doubt"), who sat down for a quick conversation about everything acting, Meryl and Soderbergh. Plus, in keeping with all things Oscar, the guys roll out their Top 5 Best Picture Nominees of the Decade. Move along Rob Marshall, there's nothing for you to see here.
